Requirements to Become a Florida Notary
•You must be at least 18 years of age.
•You must be a legal resident of Florida.
•If not a U.S. citizen, you must submit a recorded Declaration of Domicile. This affidavit is available at your county clerk's office.
•You must complete a three-hour notary education course if you are a first-time applicant.
•You must be able to read, write, and understand the English language. Subsection 117.01(1) Florida Statutes.
3 Easy Steps to follow:
1. After printing out the application have the "Affidavit of Character" filled out and signed by someone who has known you for one (1) year or longer and is not related to you.
2. Sign and date the Notary Application and Bond. Wet Ink Signature is required.

What to expect after you submit your notary application:
•Normal Processing time takes approximately 25 business days, unless, you pay for Rush Service, in which, the processing time is approximately 10 business days

What happens to my $7,500 bond?
In the State of Florida, bonds purchased from Aaron Notary Appointment Services Inc. are processed and then sent to the Dept. of State, Notary Division. The bond is never sent to you directly. The bond is delivered to the state once your completed application has been sent to us, as the bond form is part of the Florida Notary application.
